An account strike is the record a platform keeps when it decides an account broke its rules. On SoundCloud strikes commonly follow artificial engagement, aggressive follow and unfollow behaviour, repetitive comment spam, or copyright complaints. A single strike often produces nothing more than reduced distribution, but strikes accumulate.
